Stability
Stable. Generally used as a solution in water at concentrations
up to around 40%. Extremely flammable in the pure form. Incompatible with strong
oxidizing agents.
Toxicology
Harmful by ingestion, skin contact or inhalation. Eye, skin
and respiratory irritant. May cause serious and permanent
eye damage. May cause dermatitis. Prolonged
contact may cause burns. Lachrymator. Typical PEL 10 ppm.
